Fancy Glitter Fish Part II

I recently posted a lesson on creating Fancy Glitter Fish. If you have time and want to extend this lesson, here is a great alternative for you. This extra step provides a great opportunity to develop the fine motor skills necessary for cutting. Also, it gives the kids another opportunity to be creative. After all, isn't that what it's all about?

Step One: After the fish is dry, cut out fish. Take special care not to cut off any fins, teeth or crowns!
Step Two: Glue fish to a piece of black construction paper (12" x 18")

Step Three: Get out your box of scrap paper. Add schools of fish, rocks, seaweed or whatever the little artist wants! Glue decorations to the black paper.

These fish are from Mrs. Pattison's second grade class at Mountain View School

THANK YOU!!!
